Mental Health of Nurses and support staff - Esther Murray (Nurse Educator)
Esther Murray is an experienced Mental Health Registered Nurse who has worked in the Acute Health settling through this Covid 19 period.
She has observed first hand the stress that staff have and are experiencing but also the difficulties faced in their personal lives due to this virus.
Esther will present a short reflective piece on parts of this journey.
Esther formerly was CEO of Manningham Health.

OHS and the Specialist - Professor Paddy Dewan
Paddy is a Paediatric Urologist and a Paediatric General Surgeon offering CARE to children and families, and advice to adults, affected by congenital conditions, particularly those of the urinary tract and bowel. Paddy operates on a wide range of problems that require surgery for children that come within the specialties of General Surgery and Urology.
He contributes his services pro bono to developing countries through Kind Cuts for Kids [an Australian based, non-government, not-for-profit organisation that exists to provide specialist medical care for children in developing countries around the world.]
Paddy has a passion for making health CARE safer, advocating for a patient centric approach and putting CARE back into healthCARE. He is the founder of the Healthcare Excellence Institute Australia (HEIA).

OHS and the General Practitioner - Dr Magdalena Simonis.
Magdalena is a GP, and a Senior Honorary Researcher with the Safer Families Centre for Research Excellence, University of Melbourne. She is on the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP), Expert Committee for Quality Care and is on the National COVID-19 Evidence based Taskforce Expert Advisory group.

Dr David McIvor is Managing Director of Occupational Safety & Health Associates (Aust) Pty Limited and CEO of WorkSafety Pty Limited. David has provided OHS consulting and training services to a wide range of organisations both across Australia and internationally - including many in the health and aged care sector.
David also is the Work Safety Speaker and presents a range of keynote addresses and conference presentations on all-things :health and safety".
David is the M.C. for this event.
